AI-Generated Reality Show Intro: Inside a Broadcast Production

How an AI-generated opening sequence for Secret Story Portugal was produced for Endemol Portugal and transmitted on television — directed by humans, built with Nano Banana Pro, Runway Gen-4 and Veo 3.1.

The commission

Polaris AI Studio produced an opening title sequence for Secret Story Portugal, commissioned by Endemol Portugal, and the work was transmitted on television. The finished piece and its development frames are published here: Secret Story — AI Opening Intro. This article documents our own commissioned work; it claims no public endorsement by Endemol Portugal.

The creative reference

The starting point was the French original — specifically the opening logic of seasons 12 and 13 of the French Secret Story — studied and reinterpreted for the Portuguese cast. As documented in the project record, each contestant's presentation was adjusted to their personality, aiming at format continuity and, for long-time viewers, the nostalgic charge of the show's early years.

Directed first, generated second

As documented in the project record: creative direction and moodboard development from the initial briefing defined concept, look and motion before generation; Nano Banana Pro, Runway Gen-4 and Veo 3.1 were then applied across AI video generation, styling, visual development and motion; human decisions governed what was kept, regenerated and aired. The tools executed together inside one process — not as a single automatic solution. No further technical detail is asserted beyond this documented pipeline.

The result on air

The sequence went to television as the show's opening intro: a full-cast, repeatable title sequence with one coherent world, produced without sets, shoots or the turnaround times of a traditional title production. The published development frames show the range of the visual system; the finished video shows it in motion.
